Adjinbilly Rainforest Retreat is based on the natural rainforest environment.
People say it is special to come here because the environment is unique
- 'the rainforest, the cascades, no mobile phones, no computers, no TV - heaven!'.
Expect to hear the cascading creek, frogs, birds, the wind in the trees but little else.
The cabins are air conditioned by the rainforest and are cool through to the middle of the day.
It is common for people to sleep under the doona for much longer then they expected to, even in summer.

The fully self contained cabins are set within the rainforest
and have a hydro electric power system which provides 12 volt power for lights only
so the cabins are free of TV and computers.
The cabins have a gas fridge, stove and hot showers and an indoor 'Nature Loo' toilet.
Each cabin has a BBQ under cover on the verandah.

There are wood heaters in the cabins for winter and those cool mountain nights.
Outdoor campfire areas are available for special starry nights around the fire.
The cascades are a great place to remain cool on the hottest summer days.

There is no mobile phone service but there is a phone at the office for emergencies.
Access is through the Condamine Gorge and presently is for 4WD vehicles only.

NOTE: Heavy rain can cause sudden flooding through the Condamine Gorge which can make the crossings difficult to negotiate even in 4WD. Please check with Tony and Sue if river is in flood before coming to and going from Adjinbilly.
